The Zinnia California Giants, 'Zinnia elegans', has large 4 to 6 inch flowers in an almost limitless range of colors that last a long time before fading. For long hot summers, nothing beats Zinnias for brilliant bloom color and long blooming period. The Zinnia is the state flower of Indiana. Flower colors include white, pink, salmon, rose, red, yellow, orange, lavender and purple. Plant in late spring, 2 weeks after the average last frost date. This Zinnia is great for cut and dried flowers and looks excellent in mass plantings.
