False- Summer Sun Sunflower

The Sunflower False, Summer Sun, 'Heliopsis helianthoides', is a perennial sunflower that blooms all summer. It is easy an easy to grow addition to any perennial bed. The Summer Sun also makes a nice cut flower. The flowers are 3 to 4 inches across and are yellow daisy-like with yellow centers. It is an excellent summer and fall screen or border. Keep the plants attractive by removing spent flowers. The Summer Sun would be an excellent addition to a wildflower patch or naturalized area receiving little or no care.

Milas Rose Queen Corn Cockle
The Corn Cockle Milas Rose Queen, 'Agrostemma githago', is a fragile looking but very sturdy plant with delicate pink and white flowers that will delight you all summer. White Lace Bishops Flower
The Bishops Flower White Lace, 'Ammi majus L.', has delicate white flowers that will lend a lacy, airy look to your garden. This is your flower if you want the wonderful look of Queen Anne's Lace that is not the noxious weed Dacus carota. The White Lace plant is attractive to butterflies. The very small, pure white flowers appear in loose airy clusters called umbels and are up to 6 inches across. Plant 4 to 6 weeks before the average last frost date. Ammi can be grown as a pot or accent plant and is much sought after as a cut flower.

Magic Carpet Mix Snapdragon
The Magic Carpet Snapdragon, 'Antirrhinum majus', is a dwarf plant that has a trailing habit that makes it excellent for border fronts, planter boxes, and as an unusual groundcover. Magic Carpet Snapdragons blooms in spring to early summer. Snapdragons display shades of red, white, yellow, and pink on 4 to 6 inch flower stalks. They prefer and will bloom best in full sun. If the Snapdragons get to bud stage before nights get to 50 degrees, they will bloom much of the winter and spring.

The Grass Great Quaking, 'Briza maxima', produces fluffy kites dangling on threadlike stems that quiver and dance on every passing breeze. The Great Quaking Grass is very easy for novice gardeners or children to grow. The sound and the appearance of the flower heads blowing in the breeze is soothing. Plant in the spring, 3 weeks before the last average frost date. Spray the flowers with florist dye to create any color you want. This plant is used for a tall, grassy groundcover.

The Bellflower Clustered Acaulis, 'Campanula glomerata 'Acaulis', is the perfect perennial for edging paths and borders. It is called Clustered Bellflower because of the tightly clustered flowers at the top of the short stems. When planted in groups of five or more, they provide a dramatic effect. Plant in the spring 2 weeks before average last frost date or early fall, and at least 2 months before first frost. This Bellflower is used in rock gardens, borders, edging for paths, borders and for ground cover.

Little Bright Eyes Vinca
The Vinca Little Bright Eyes, 'Catharanthus roseus', flowers continuously for months no matter how hot its location. Little Bright Eyes are especially useful for the southern or desert climates or hard to maintain hot spots near a concrete or reflecting wall. It blooms best when other plants are hurting from the heat. The flowers are 1 to 1/2 inch phlox like blooms with a pink center. The Vinca Little Bright Eyes is used in containers, ground cover, and borders. This plant is also known as devil's eye or sorcerer's violet.
