Springhill Nursery - Daylily, Bertie Ferris Dwarf
|
Award-winning miniature! Persimmon orange, 2" ruffled blooms appear in early summer. Rapid growth makes it a good ground cover; also great in borders, rock gardens and pots. Grows 20" tall, spreads 12-18".
Unlike their taller cousins, which often are limited to background plantings, delightful dwarf daylilies are a very versatile size. They produce elegant mounds of 12-20" tall foliage and bloom on stems up to 24" high, making them ideal for shorter borders, rock gardens and the front of perennial beds. They bloom with a steady profusion of flowers, thrive with minimum care and multiply rapidly. Space 12-24" apart.
#1 field-grown plants. Deer tend to avoid.
