Springhill Nursery - Daylily, Stella de Oro
|
Winner of the prestigious Stout Medal, the golden beauty Stella de Oro Daylily blooms all summer long. Grows 18-24” high and provides an abundance of 2 ½” buttercup yellow blooms.
Unlike their taller cousins, which often are limited to background plantings, delightful dwarf daylilies are a very versatile size. They produce elegant mounds of 12-20" tall foliage and bloom on stems up to 24" high, making them ideal for shorter borders, rock gardens and the front of perennial beds. They bloom with a steady profusion of flowers, thrive with minimum care and multiply rapidly. Space 12-24" apart.
#1 field-grown plants. Deer tend to avoid.
