Flying Saucer Morning Glory

The Morning Glory Flying Saucer, 'Tpomoea tricolor', is a sister of 'Heavenly Blue'. The Flying Saucer displays a blue star that has a crystal white background with radiating stripes of sky blue. Flying Saucer flowers are 5 inches across and they exhibit a throat that is tinted with soft lemon yellow. Plants started too early are less vigorous than those started later. This excellent vine will cover fences and trellises, grow as ground cover, or hang in large baskets or pots.

The Nasturtium Mahogany, 'Tropaeolum majus', has majestic deep red flowers in stunning contrast with bright-green foliage. Nasturtium Mahogany's rich color is reminiscent of gleaming antique furniture, it adds "polish" to a garden bed. The deep red 2 to 21/2 inch flowers bloom 6 weeks after sowing. The flowers and leaves are edible. Nasturtiums are used for edging and borders. These plants will also deter whiteflies, squash bug, and rabbits.
