The Monarda ‘Raspberry Wine’, Monarda didyma, also known as Bee Balm, Bergamont, Horsemint, Oswego Tea, is a clump-forming perennial that has tubular, two-lipped, raspberry flowers with dark green aromatic foliage. ‘Raspberry Wine’ stands at 36’ high and has a plant spread of 24-36” and blooms from July to August. Attracting hummingbirds, butterflies and bees, particularly when massed, Monarda provides color and contrast for the perennial border, wild garden, meadow, herb garden or along ponds or streams.

It has a plant height of 3’ and a spread of 36-48”. ‘Lemon Sunset’ will flower its first year, June to August. Oenothera requires full sun and needs a good drainage site. Try planting ‘Lemon Sunset’ with Salvia, Achillea or Columbine. For a wonderful sun perennial, one will not want to leave ‘Lemon Sunset’ out of their garden.
