The Monarda 'Petite Delight', Monarda didyma, also known as Bee Balm, Bergamont, Horsemint, Oswego Tea, is a clump-forming perennial that has tubular, two-lipped, light red to purple flowers with dark green aromatic foliage. It is one of the smallest Monarda in its family and has the darkest foliage. Attracting hummingbirds, butterflies and bees, particularly when massed, Monarda provides color and contrast for the perennial border, wild garden, meadow, and herb garden or along ponds or streams.

Glowing Magenta Evening Primrose
The Evening Primrose, Glowing Magenta, 'Oenothera kunthiana', is a new Oenothera unlike any other. The deep pink flowers stand out against its deep green foliage. It has a plant height of 6 and a spread of 5-10. Glowing Magenta is unusually compact for its species and has an extremely long flowering time, (June to September.) Oenothera requires full sun and needs a good drainage site. Try planting Glowing Magenta with Salvia, Achillea or Columbine. For a wonderful sun ground cover, one will not want to leave Glowing Magenta out of their garden.

Rosenkuppel Oregano
The Rosenkuppel Oregano, Origanum laevigatum, is a great ground cover used in mass or alone. It forms attractive mats of round dark green leaves that are the perfect backdrop for its beautiful, ornamental dark pink flowers. Its contrasting purple calyces really make this plant stand out amongst the rest. Blooming from August to October, it has a plant height of 15" and a width of 24". Oregano needs to be planted in a full sun area with well drained soil. Try planting with Pennisetum 'Little Bunny'.

Dimity Dwarf Fleece Flower
The Mountain Fleece Dimity, 'Persicaria affinis', a Blooms of Bressingham plant, is a wonderful variety in the Persicaria family. The superb green leaves turn red bronze in the fall and the pink flower spikes appear from summer into autumn. Dimity has a plant height of 6 and a spread of 18-23. The foliage forms a shiny carpet that should not be missed. Dimity should be planted in a full sun area but can tolerate some afternoon shade. Dimity will look great in any perennial garden, in mixed container, woodland edge or near ponds and streams.

Firetail Mountain Fleece Flower
The Mountain Fleece Firetail, 'Persicaria', a Blooms of Bressingham plant, is a wonderful variety in the Persicaria family. With its superb, medium green leaves it has a plant height of 3-4 and a spread of 3-4. The flowers are crimson red and bloom in June and July, but this plant is more noted for its foliage. Firetail should be planted in a full sun area but can tolerate some afternoon shade. Firetail will look great in any perennial garden, in mixed container, woodland edge or near ponds and streams. Try planting it with your favorite Salvia or Nepta.

The Polemonium Brise d'Anjou Jacob's Ladder, Polemonium caeruleum, has variegated, fern-like foliage and large, single, light violet-blue flowers. The light violet-blue flowers open to bright yellow, adding delightful charm to its foliage. Try planting with Hosta Francee or Polemonium Bressingham Purple, in mass plantings, in rock gardens or in an elegant landscape. Brise d'Anjou Jacob's Ladder is attractive to bees and butterflies and easy to maintain.
