The Splendins 'Sea Thrift', Armeria maritima, has wonderful pink flowers that contrast well with its dark evergreen, tufted foliage. This plant is very floriferous in spring and early summer. 'Sea Thrift' is an excellent plant for use in rock gardens or edging.Armeria is salt tolerant and are often grown along the coast line. With a plant height of 6" and a spread of 10", its grass like foliage stays evergreen throughout the season. It is best planted in sandy soils in full sun.

The Caladium Aaron, 'Caladium', has impressive white with green edged foliage. Being one of the largest Caladiums, ‘Aaron’ has white centers and the veins gradually creep into the deep green edges. It has a plant height of 18-20” and a spread of 12-18”. ‘Aaron’ should be planted in full sun and in a well-drained area. The colors are extremely showy from July to frost. Try planting ‘Aaron’ in containers for the patio, in window boxes or to brighten up you perennial garden.

The Ceratostigma ‘Plumbago Leadwort’, Ceratostigma plumbaginoides, is a beautiful, fast growing ground cover with dark oval green foliage, turning to dark blue in late summer and early fall. The small blue flowers make this ground cover more unusual than the rest because of its late blooming time. ‘Plumbago’ works great at the front of the perennial border, shrub borders, rock gardens, or as an edging plant. It looks wonderful with Achillea ‘Moonshine’ and Coreopsis ‘Moonbeam’.
