Biokovo Geranium

The Geranium Midnight Reiter, 'Pelargonium', has rich, true blue flowers that bloom from June till August. With its beautiful dark purple foliage, it has a plant width of 12” and a height of 6”. (If grounded in shade, the foliage turns green with purple highlights.) ‘Midnight Reiter’ needs to be cut back in early summer for repeat bloom time in the fall. It is a superb plant for cottage gardens, container growing, borders or informal borders in mass plantings. There is an attraction to bees and butterflies and it is very disease and deer resistant. A great plant for a beginner gardener.

The Geranium Rozanne, 'Pelargonium', a Blooms of Bressingham plant, has large, violet blue flowers with white eyes that bloom from June till August. With its beautiful dark green foliage, it has a plant width of 24” and a height of 18”. ‘’Rozanne’ needs to be cut back in early summer for repeat bloom time in the fall. It is a superb plant for cottage gardens, container growing, borders or informal borders in mass plantings. There is an attraction to bees and butterflies and it is very disease and deer resistant. The Geranium ‘Biokovo’, Geranium x cantabrigiense, produces white flowers with light pink veins and stamens. With its beautiful dark green foliage, it has a plant width of 12-18” and a height of 6-8”. ‘Biokovo’ Geranium needs to be cut back in early summer for repeat bloom time in the fall. ‘Biokovo’ Geranium, being drought tolerant, needs a full sun area with some shade in the afternoon. There is an attraction to bees and butterflies andit is very disease and deer resistant.

The Geranium ‘Johnson's Blue’, Geranium x 'Johnson's Blue', has rich sky-blue flowers that fade to pear gray as they mature, blooming from June till August. Thy Royal Horticultural Society gave a prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM) to ‘Johnson’s Blue’, and one can see why. With its beautiful dark green foliage, it has a plant width of 23-27” and a height of 18”. There is an attraction to bees and butterflies and it is very disease and deer resistant. A great plant for a beginner gardener.
