Gurney's Seed and Nursery Co. - Chinese Elm

Forms a dense screen in a hurry. Grows to 50 feet but looks great trimmed as low as 1-2 feet. Gets thick with regular pruning. Leaves hold late, turn red and purple in fall. Adapts to less-than-ideal conditions--tolerates drought and pollution, resists pests and disease.

Hedges divide a yard into separate spaces for outdoor entertaining, for gardening and for setting off a stretch of lawn. They are far more attractive then fencing and much less expensive.
